Hormonal IUD Provider Experiences: Training, Counseling, Service Delivery

As the hormonal IUD moves from pilots to full national scale-up in new countries around the world, healthcare providers are on the front lines of introduction and method advocacy. This event, hosted by the Hormonal IUD Access Group Learning Network, highlighted provider experiences receiving training to offer the hormonal IUD, counseling clients, and integrating the new method into routine service delivery. The event panelists, trained FP providers themselves, shared lessons learned from Nigeria, Kenya, and Zambia and recommendations for the future of hormonal IUD introduction.
