Country Guidance for Quantification of Early Orders for Hormonal IUD Introduction
As countries introduce hormonal IUD into their contraception method mix, it is important for them to develop robust assumptions for the quantification process as they prepare for health worker trainings, and the introduction and scale-up of this new product. This document provides guidance on forecasting approaches for hormonal IUD during introduction and early scale-up and includes examples of key evidence from countries that have begun introductions, to assist others in determining reasonable assumptions.

Contraceptive Method Introduction to Expand Choice: A Strategic Planning Guide
The High Impact Practices (HIPs) for family planning recently released this Strategic Planning Guide, intended to lead program managers, planners, national policy makers, and other stakeholders through a strategic process to coordinate the introduction of contraceptive methods through public and private access channels. The guide was developed through consultation with technical experts and summarizes guidance from key resources for method introduction. It provides an overview and links to other resources for more depth and detail.

Activating Access to the Hormonal IUD Resource Package
These guides, available in French, Portuguese, and English, include information about the hormonal intrauterine device (IUD) for stakeholders interested in activating access to the method.
